The idea was to follow the usal storyline that goes with a rom-com of someone geeky liking someone cool.
We decided on filming it in a college environment with our two characters from two different backgrounds, one from a car and the other from the college buses and then meeting together in a classroom. This was both their lives join together to make the perfect romantic comedy.
We could relate our idea to two trailers in particular; 'Loser' and 'The Ringer'.
Loser - includes many scenes which have him being different to the 'norm'..
The Ringer - shows the main charcater trying to be something he isn't which is what we'll also being trying to acheive.
We want our geek guy to try to be 'cool' to impress the girl but in the end she falls for the real him. Scenes we thought of doing to show this was fast edited section which shows different dress styles he tried to try and be 'cool' and get her attention. Also a scene which we have filmed is where he attempts to play football but gets injured constantly. These show his failed attempts.

Tuesday 13th October
Today our filming began and we started filming short bits we could eventually end up montaging. We started with Aiden trying out for the football team in order to 'impress' our girl, but just filmed shots of him tripping over the ball and being hit etc.
We then filmed the starting scene as it was appropriate timing, which consisted of Aiden stepping off the school bus.

- We changed our idea at this point to match a video piece we had previously done. We made a small trailer called 'Shutter' which we only had a few weeks to do. We weren't happy with the idea of doing the rom-com because we didnt think we could be as creative with it as we wanted and kept getting better ideas for a thriller, so we decided to go with that, but we decided to keep this post here to show our previous idea...
