Model pages.

I decided to created model pages for each page I am creating: the front cover, contents and double page spread.

This is the cover model. It indicates clearly where I plan to add text and image. I believe the contrast between text and image will work well to create an interesting and eyecatching front cover for my magazine.

Similarly, this is the contents page model. I have chosen to separate the different articles which would be in the magazine into sections: 'on the cover', 'features', 'news', 'every month' and 'reviews'. Some of these headlines have come from inspiration from other existing magazines. I will add a large photograph which will draw the readers attention to a specific article.

I found it difficult to create the style model for the double page spread, as I am unsure of how much text I will have. However, the basic model is shown here. I will contrast text with image and use different colours to make the text look more interesting.
I will make sure that there is a continuous colour scheme throughout the magazine, which is similar to that of other existing magazines.
