Beggining to film and edit, research into bands and album/single covers and exploring possible print designs

We have started to film the fantasy parts of the video. We filmed on blue screen for the fantasy parts, to enable us to put C.G.I. backgrounds in. We decided to have different outfits, for example, pyjamas and dressing gowns, party outfits and casual outfits. We also decided to have over the top, bright make up to reflect the Barbie stereotype. We then began to edit the sections we have filmed and started to put our music video together. We have used transitions and special effects to reflect the fantasy world. For the background in the fantasy parts, we used champagne and fireworks for behind Jake, but we have decided they dont achieve the right effect. We have also used block colours and a picture of some lips. We plan to film the real parts of the video tommorow.

We have based the band on bands like The Saturdays and The Spice Girls. Whilst researching ideas for the album cover these are the band's albums we have looked at. At first we decided to call our band "Being Plastic", but have decided to call the song "Being Plastic", rather than the band.

For the print aspects of the project, we have begun to experiment with styles, ideas, fonts and images. We have created a few different templates.
