'Lola Spencer- Merry Happy'
After much discussion we have selected a brief. Our task is to create a pop video, a digi pack and some form of advertisement for the single. Kate Nash's 'Merry Happy' is our song of choice;
We are keen for our video to represent the lyrics literally and hope to portray a troubled relationship and the anger and confusion of the lead singer/character. To aid us we have researched videos that also show a couple in dispute or break-up. We were unable to find a like for the original video of Merry Happy;

We have also researched other works of 'Foundations' (another Kate Nash song) directer, Kinga Burza, for inspiration.
She directed: Peaches-I feel cream, La Roux -In for the kill & Quicksand, Noisettes-Don't uset the rhythm, Katy Perry-Kissed a girl, Ladyhawke-Back of the van, Calvin Harris-Merrymaking along with three others of Kate Nash's videos-Coraline, Mouthwash and Pumpkin soup.
We especially appreciate her use of bright colour and her use of stopmotion and would like to use similar techniques in our own video.
