'Lola Spencer- Merry Happy'
Before filming we have created a storyboard to give us a loose idea of a story and something to follow. We don't expect to follow this proposed story exactly but it is useful to give us a direction. What inspired our story was the song lyrics from Kate Nash and our research into similar videos.
The story line is a day in the life of 'Lola' where she is doing day to day things and thinking of her ex boyfriend. As the days go on she realises that she doesn't need him and gets on with her life. There will be no set pattern to the things that she is doing, just shots of her ironing, cleaning, sitting on the couch and on the phone. We also want to include some flash backs of when she was with her boyfriend and the things they did together. We would like to do some stop motion and as we have seen in Kate Nash's video they can be random and in no particular place.
We will start with close ups of 'Lola's' face and the majority of shots will be of 'Lola' but some half and full body shots so that we can include a range of shots such as mid shot and long shot. We will use close ups of hands and feet and Kate Nash does in 'Foundations'.
