Poster

We each envisioned different approaches and stlyles to the film poster, with a basic brief of promotion and advertisement we decided to incorporate aspects of all our ideas. A compilation of our creative ideas, with a scrapbook style infused with modern image. We deliberated, and chose to scatter the polaroids across the poster with our photographs captured inside. The background came later, using a photographic image of a set of lockers in college, linking with the school styled theme, an audience can instantly relate to the intertextuality.

Using a photographic template of a polaroid, it formed the basis to our primary image.

Thematically the polaroids fit with the 'Yearbook' form, a college yearbook essentially comprised of phtotos and memories. Lacking a background we decided block colour didn't fit well, so a more definitive image seemed apt, though wiithout detracting from our primary image of the scattered polaroids.
