For the guitar playing parts, and when the video starts and ends, we decided to use an obandoned retirement home in Orrell. We felt that it suited the mood of the video, as it was telling the story of a ruined relationship.
We got the idea of using more run-down locations as the video progesses from these music videos, and thought that this would reflect the characters increasing sadness and their relationship deteriorating.
We used back streets in Wigan to film the phone conversation towards the end of the video.
