For the construction of my magazine I started with a theme, after contemplating what theme to use, I finalised on my decision on to use a theme representing the urban grungy look. I then chose a genre, Bassline/Grime as this links in with the urban theme and look. After the base of my magazine was completed, I contemplated on the magazines name, using some ideology and relating the name to the music genre I came up with Pure Grime Magazine. Following this, I would have to find a font that would represent the urban look, I used a font website and then finalised the fonts to these below.
As all these fonts resemble the genre and theme I am aiming for it was difficult to decide which one to chose. I finally chose the font ‘capture it’ (bottom right) as it had more rigid edges on the letters and looks more professional.
