Volume and Transitions

Objectives
-Alter volume of clips for better continuity
-Soften and fade transitions between clips
-Adjust the length of some audio clips to meet the time limit

24th and 25th November
In today’s lesson we modified the volume of various sound clips, as when played back you could hear the crackling and were generally lower quality before their decibel was lowered. Throughout this session we were listening to all of our material, and therefore able to focus on smoother transitions and linking clips together more effectively. Upon listening to the project fully we found that it ran well over the five minute time limit and decided we had to cut some material from the production. This task was effortless as we needed to modify the length of some of our vox-pops and our interview, which reduced the length considerably.
