Outdoor broadcast

Objectives
-Record the outdoor broadcast, using the (Zoom)
-Change and re-work the sport section
-Edit our blog entries with changes made and corrections

19th November
During today’s lesson, Michael is going to record his outside broadcast of a pie eating contest, we chose to cover this event as it is a prime example of local interest and is representative of our region. Previously we had recorded a run-through of Michaels section, however the equipment we used had no microphone cover and without any form of pop shield the wind was picked up which ruined the sound clips. Whilst the outdoor broadcast is underway, Joel has been editing his sports section, adding background sound and music to his speech. Jade has begun to edit some of the project, the sound clips used over the news bulletins were removed, because of quality and continuity issues.I(Rachael) am going to edit our posts so far on Blog Spot, I will read what has been written so far and if anything’s changed I will either change it or, correct it in a new post, stating what has changed.Today we will also book the recording suite for Friday, so Jade and I can complete various clips of the show, as we played back the project and heard some imperfections with pronunciation, volume and pace. We have also written a plan of everything we still have yet to do and have set ourselves deadlines, so that we can ensure our piece is completed on time.Over the next week we hope to start piecing all of our recordings together in the correct order, changing and re-recording any pieces that are not to the same standard as our other work.
