Objectives
-Record the introduction and news bulletins
-Piece together our opening sequence, ordered: Jingle, introduction,news bulletins.
-Begin recording the other dialogue in the show
Previously we had recorded the opening dialogue to our 'Jingle'. Consisting of the two presenting voices introducing the show, we placed a musical sound clip behind, and then overlapped this with the news bulletin introduction. The group booked the studio for recording and we began to record our beginning dialogue and also completed a run through of the shows script to estimate time restraints and test the coherency of our work. Once we had completed a final take of our introduction we overlapped it with the jingle and our recording of our news bulletins. We dipped the ending of each clip in order to make them fade in and out of each other.
This lesson, we plan to use the radio equipment again to record as much as possible of the rest of our show.
