We thought of these as they are both memorable songs, with very sentimental lyrics. These lyrics would have provided us with opportunites to get the actor to show emotion throughout the video.

We then tried to find an Eminem song that would provide dancing scenes aswell as catchy lyrics. However, the explicity of eminems song forced us to decide against them.

Our final choice, Kid Cudi - Day 'n' Night, had a good beat, with lyrics that provided chance for a certain storyline to be conveyed through the music video. (His desire for a girl he has lost).
