- Blue Screen Key (which we have used for the footage filmed on blue screen, to change the colour of the background)
- Chromakey (we also used this for some of the blue screen footage, because it had more features than the blue screen key which allowed us to experiment more)
- Color Key (we used this to achieve the halo effect, an outline around the Barbies, to represent the fantasy world)

-The Hearts (emphasise the femininity, fun and happiness, especially since our hearts are pink rather than red)

Another media studies student watched our film and commented that the transitions helped to add fun and comedy. They commented that they worked really well in keeping continuity and recommended that we added more, as when the student previewed our work there were only a few in. We added more and really liked the end result.
