Now that we have completed our panels for our CD we wanted to look at what templates could be effective and which would use our created work to it's full effect.
We began to look at 4 panel CD packaging because this type of digipack is most common within the music industry. The shape appears as follows -

This type of digipak could be effective because it cuts down on the use of resources and ensures that the digipak is environmentally friendly. Although, we would like to avoid using a 4 panel CD packaging because we have already designed 6 panels worth of work.
When looking at 6 panel CD cases we found 2 that could possibly be used for our design.


The bottom image shows a much better idea of how the digipak would fit together. We would like to use this template for our own work because we believe it can show off all of our work to it's full potential and still be used easily by the user. We placed our created design onto this template and this was created -

This corresponds to the template in a different way. One large difference is that we swapped each layer over so that the front and back of the CD are on the top row of imagery. The design we selected works like this -
