With the title of the ‘The Yearbook’ we decided to do a poster using ideas from a Yearbook. We selected to use Polaroid’s as the background for the pictures, to give it a ‘scrap book’ feel.
We tried two different styles, one with a black background and the other with a white background.
We originally preferred the black background; however after further work on the poster we decided that the white background looked better with our overall background image of the school lockers.
To add to the yearbook effect we added colourful doodles, of squares into the background.
Our first poster was very plain, with a typical American text, and white background. Our images were a lot smaller and had less of an impact on the poser. This is why we added the back ground image of the Lockers and changed the text.
