Poster research

We started to look at horrror film posters and generally the posters are very mysterious as not to give away the monster/alien/general evil being. So usually they are simple with an image that tells you it is a horror, the title of the film and release date clearly visible with the production studios logo less visible, below are some posters we looked at.

We noticed alot of the time the poster focuses on the face of a victim or shows the evil being but a mysterious version that doesnt give the film away. We like the idea of the reflection of a victim like in the binoculars in the disturbia poster and think while it is a stalker film we could add a reflection to the eye of the stalker, this showing the victim and also keeping the stalkers identity a secret. We dont know yet what colour scheme to use but will experiment.
