Editing Our Film..

Emma Meadows, Daryl Bradbury, Emily Caine, Laura Jones
'Lola Spencer- Merry Happy'

We want to avoid showing the same shot for a long time, as the result is often a boring video. Our song especially requires a fastly paced video as it is an upbeat track. To combat our video becoming boring we are attempting to fast edit our shots, flicking from angles at a relatively fast pace. Just by watching our video through and researchung others we have acknowledged when a shot has been on to long and have quickly inserted another clip. Our advantage is that we have a dual narrative, we are showing both flashbacks and our singer 'lola spencer' so we have an array of shots to move between.

The first aspect of film we have attempted to edit is our opening sequence, we want this to be especially successful as it will ensure the viewers attention. When filming we were aware of our intentions of moving between shots and so we have filmed from a few angles, here are just a few stills of angles filmed from.

Below is an image of one of our members Laura, she is using Adobe premiere to edit our footage.

Here is a video of our editing so far, we are happy with how it looks, it moves quickly but not at a pace that would be unsettling to the audience. It also establishes the singer. This is now our permanent opening sequence.
