'Lola Spencer- Merry Happy'

Below is an image of some steps we took when considering different album covers

After editing our images below is the album cover we have decided on so far. We took an images of laura and andrew's feet. Though we originally wanted a vibrant album cover we found making the image black and white gave it a brilliantly nostalgic quality that we decided was invaluable. The text we found almost immediately. We liked the font for 'Lola Spencer' as it looks handwritten and scribbled on. "Merry Happy' is wrote in a eye-catching font that we think looks inspired by the circus. Its playful and quirky and we like what is suggests about our artist. The title of the song is in a very bold font but 'lola spencer' remains in a dainty and romantic font also reflective of our artist. This is an example of our proposed final product, with a close up of the text.

Next we designed the back cover, where we made up original song titles and included barcodes, the virgin logo and a website (the usual things you would find on the back of a CD). We feel this adds authenticity to our product.
