We looked at a number of different film magazines such as Empire, Total Film and Sight and Sound.
After looking at these magazines we started to design a film magazine cover in the style of these. Our favourite of these was the Empire one, so we thought we would use that one, so we copied it using Adobe Illustrator so it looked exact before we found out that we had to design our own. We wanted to keep it in this style, similar font and colours so thats what we did. We decided on the name of our magazine to be called "motion" taken from another word for film "motion pictures".
After playing around with the logo for a while this is the finished one which we decided to go with. The colour of red is slightly different and we've added a drop shadow on the lettering.
