AMF Bowling is another location, as it is a fun and lively area of entertainment and this will be reflected in our shots. It is young and hip and so fits in with our style of video.

Hello,
We are Winstanley College A Level Media students and the course requires us to make a music video. After deliberating we have chosen the song Girlfriend by Avril Lavigne as the track and in our planning the cinema came up as in ideal location for part of the filming. This would of course be at a less busy time suitable to you and if possible in a screen where there is no showing.
There would be minimal fuss and we would of course cause you no trouble, and would really appreciate the opportunity.

This is an email that we sent to the manager of Empire Cinemas in Wigan as this is the third of our locations. He replied willing to help and allowed us to film in the cinema as long as we didn't interrupt with their time table. Going to the cinema is certainly a very couple type activity that our singer will only be too happy to ruin for the purpose of our lyrics.
Other locations include Wigan Park and Wigan Park Cafe, and as music videos usually include shots of the artist singing the song and posing for the camera seperate from the main story line of the video, we have chosen to include this and it will take place in the Wiend Bar in Wigan.
