Inspiration

First of all, we had to decide which song we would use. After deliberation, we settled on the song 'Money Honey' by Lady GaGa. This song is fast paced and has an interesting narrative which means that we could produce a creative video that is fun to make and exciting to watch. There is not currently a music video for this song.
We looked at some different examples of pop video, and found 'Poker Face' by Lady GaGa, as shown below, was an inspiration to us.

We like the use of editing here and believe we could produce something similar in our video.


This close-up shows the use of make-up and high fashion jewellery which we would like to incorporate within our video.


The dance sequence is an example of a typical pop video convention. It would work well in our video and make it look more like a modern pop video.


This part of the video made us aware of the importance of scenario in our video. It made us think of which locations we could film in.

We have also looked at other similar music videos. We found the following were also inspirational to us.


We like how this video contains lots of fast paced editing with quick cuts.
