front cover and tracklist

On the above image we made the light larger as we wanted to make this more of a focus and to illuminate the shot. We also got rid of some of the shadow on her nose and we felt that it was a little too much and made her face look too dark.

Here we have made the image larger to fill the space meaning that there is less black overall. We also named the album 'Broken Hearted Girl' after one of the tracks and we named our artist Sian Meadows, as this seemed like a good name for a pop star who represents femininity and empowerment at the same time.
The font is from a website
www.dafont.com and it is called Sebastian Font. Before we chose this font we tested lots of different ones, downloasded from the same source, see the list below. We wanted to use a handwritten font to give a more personal feel to the album. We also decided to use the last font on the list for the tracklisting that will be on the back of the digipak.
We came across the image for the back of our digipak by accident. We were practicing lighting and whether the effect we wanted with the light would work and we came across an image that we felt would be perfect to be alongside the tracklist. We also tried different fonts and decided our original thought was right. We didn't have to do much editing on the light as it was pretty much how we wanted it we just had to smooth the edges slightly and crop the image. It was created by the person holding the light moving during a time of long exposure photography, due to lack of lighting.
