We looked at the existing album cover for Alexander Rybak's album, we did this to gain inspiration for our own design. We analysed the cover and like the use of black and white contrasting with the bold colours. The fairies in the background of the cover symbolise the 'fairytale' which relates to the song lyrics. The expression on his face and the use of the violin being played, shows that the song is upbeat but also has meaning.
This is a poster advertising the song. It is very simple and does not represent it well. We do not like the imagery used because of the outline around the singer. Also the typography is poor. It is too plain and badly positioned. The pose taken by Alexander Rybak does not portray the feelings in the song well.
