I think this double page spread is very effective. The title is large and eye catching which would atract the reader and make them want to read the article. The musician shown, Lily Allen, looks atractive and stylish. There is not much font which would be preferred by the audience of such music magazines as they would be more interested in music than reading long articles. The first letter of the article is large and bold which would persuade the reader to read on. The background is plain and white which works well with the busier foreground.
This article has a lot more text, however, the use of two large images balances this out. The images are interesting and match the content of the article. They show the band in action which would be appealing to the audience. Quotes are in a larger, bold font which stand out so that the reader could read these and get an idea of what the whole article is about. The page number and magazine name is shown at the bottem of the page.
