Double Page Spread

The first thing I considered when creating my double page spread was the images I would use. When photographing my model I took casual photographs aswel as sophisticated ones. I have decided to use the more casual photographs for my double page spread as they seem more itimate with relation to the interview. The next thing I focused on was the text, I made mydouble page spread so that there was on page with the heading, a small image and the text, I thought this was a good idea as I have a younger target audiende and a page full of writing isn't enticing, therefore I think the picture and the heading spreads the text out more. I used the font "punks not dead" for the heading and subheadings, when I first saw the font I thought that it would be hard to read but when i inserted it on my double page spread I found that it was easy to read. I believe that this font is in keeping with the genre of my magazine. When reviewing other magazines I noticed that many of them take quotes from the interview, enlarge them and placed within the article, I found this quite effective when creating my double page spread, this technique divides the interview offering relief to the reader . The format of the interview is a simple question and answer layout. I used this format because I had seen from viewing other magazine this is the most common and effective way.
