We have written a script to help us with the show. The script is primarily only used for inspiration during recording, as we found that in reading a script word for word, the show doesn't sound relaxed and welcoming which would not engage the target audience. The script offers reminders to the reader if they forget to mention something in their casual, usual way of speaking.
(Voxpops- I listen to Dynamite Fm because...)

But it's bad news for the England Rugby Union team who lost 54-4 to France.

Tasha: The body of the man discovered outside his home had been identified as Jack Mitchell-Burns. We sent our reporter, John to the scene of the crime.
John: Well i'm here outside the home of Jack Mitchell-Burns, a 31 year old man who was brutally stabbed outside his home in the early hours of this morning. I'm joined here now by DC Gardener who is going to answer a few questions relating to the murder.
So what can you tell us about the killer? Do the police know who is responsible for this?
DC Gardener: Well, it is thought to be a gang of youths who were seen outsid ethe house just before teh attack. Were looking for four males aged approximately 15-18
John: Do you know if there were any motives behind the killing?
DC Gardener: Well Jack was descibed by neighbours as a fun loving guy so the chances of provoking someone so much as to want to kill him seem slim.
John: Thankyou very much for your time. The police are calling for anyone who witnessed the attack or saw any gangs of youths around the area late last night or early this morning to come forward. Back to the studio with Tasha and Ross.
Ross: Thanks for that report John. Now time for a quick traffic update. There's a pile up on the M6going back form junction 21 to 19. And there's a heavy build up on prescot road, leading to Liverpool.
Tasha: Well that traffic jam may well affect parents picking up their children from school.
Ross: Well it's quite a shame about that school closing down isn't it?
Tasha Ye
Ross: There seems to be one closing down every month, there's going to be none left soon!
Tasha: I know, and people complain when you get kids hanging outside their house or robbing shops, but the thing is, they wouldnt do that if they had a school to go to becuse they just do that to pass the time really.
Ross: Aw I know alot of kids hate school, but you do miss it when it's gone dont you.
Tasha: Ye, I was one of the weird ones that actually loved school, i've got some good memories.
Ross: Ye me too, I remember it all. The school discos, the teacher crushes. And the not so good memories like bad reports on parents evening.
Tasha: (laughs) Well speaking of school memories, we ventured out onto the streets of wigan to ask: What do you remember about school?
(Voxpops- school memories)
Tasha: Thats all for now, but we'll be back at 6.00 for another news update.
We may update the script if we find that it doesn't work as well as intended.
