After we had written our scripts we decided to begin with our voxpops with members of the public saying why they like to listen to our radio station, Dynamite FM. Ross and I (Tasha) then recorded the news headlines and our banter that led into the voxpops about what people remembered about school, followed by recording the actual voxpops. Once this was done we then recorded our outside broadcast, borrowing two members of our class to be a reporter and a police officer. We recorded our voxpops outside near the main road with a zoom portable recorder so that we got the background noise of cars passing by. This helped to identify that the interview was being held held outside the victims home.
After thuis we then went back into the recording studio to record the sport, weather and traffic. We got three more members of our class to do this for us making sure we had a male for the sport and a female for the weather, as through our research we dicovered that these reports were usually made by a specfic gender-male for sport and female for weather.
Johnathan then realised that we needed links into and out of the programme, so he recorded himself introducing the report and ending the report by introducing more music.
We then decided to add more to our sport section by doing an outside interview with 'Jamie Carragher' using two males to be the reporter and Jamie. This interview linked in with our football news about Liverpool winning a match against Athletico Madrid.
